Who we are

Language Unpacked is run by Tallulah Holley who is the main body that will be collecting, storing, processing, maintaining, cleansing, and retaining personal data including data defined as sensitive. Tallulah Holley will be the data controller for your personal data.    

 

How we will use your data

We (Tallulah Holley) use your personal data to facilitate your involvement in Language Unpacked clubs and workshops. Any data that is collated about you is needed to deliver our services effectively.

 

The nature of your personal data we will be using

If you request or book one of our services, we will collate the following personal data:  

  • Full name 

  • Email address 

  • Phone number  

  • Postal address 

In addition, we will collate important information about any child participating in our clubs. 

  • Full name 

  • Age

  • Disability 

If your data is being collated, you will be informed in advance so that you can give your consent.   

 

Why do we collect this information and why our use of your personal data is lawful

We collate your data in order to provide a service which you have requested. In order for our use of your personal data to be lawful, we need to meet one (or more) conditions in the GDPR and DPA 2018 data protection legislation. For the purpose of this project, we will process your personal information in accordance with: 

  • 6 1 (a) “the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes”. This refers to the consent that you have given for your data to be provided, such as in booking forms.

 

Sharing your personal data

Your data will not be shared with any third parties. 

 

How long we will keep your personal data

We will keep your personal data for no longer than is necessary. The data we hold will be reviewed every year. We will delete your data five years after you have stopped engaging with our services.

Data protection legislation requires us to keep your information secure. This means that your confidentiality will be respected, and all appropriate measures will be taken to prevent unauthorised access and disclosure.  All personal data is kept electronically and protected by password.

  • to have your personal data rectified, if it is inaccurate or incomplete

Withdrawal of Consent and the Right to Lodge a Complaint
